Watch for Children When Driving on Halloween

If you are going to be driving around in the local LeMars area this Halloween, it is important for you to watch out for children as you do that. Keep your eyes open and be prepared to stop your vehicle if a child goes out onto the road; with so many trick-or-treaters that's bound to be a concern.

It is your responsibility as a driver to keep your eyes open for the costume-clad children who will be roaming the streets on Halloween. Drive five miles per hour slower than the posted speed to make it easier to keep an eye on the road and to stop your vehicle at a moment's notice. Scan every intersection extra well on Halloween. Avoid those areas where you know children will be gathered.

Here at Jensen LeMars Chrysler, we would like nothing more than to hear that children and adults alike had a safe Halloween. We hope that you will do what you can to look out for children while you are traveling the streets on this upcoming holiday night!
