Capability
The PHEV powertrain on the Grand Cherokee 4xe provides best-in-class torque and produces up to 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque as you cruise to Sioux Center. It gets an EPA-estimated 56 MPGe and is capable of towing up to 6,000 pounds to Sioux Falls. You can get up to 25 miles of all-electric range, and it has three different driving modes. With Hybrid Mode, it helps maximize horsepower and torque for improved performance. Electric Mode utilizes the battery for short commutes, while the eSave Mode helps save the battery for later use. The Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system available on the Grand Cherokee 4xe offers an always active option, and with the rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential, you can have the torque sent to an individual rear wheel as needed.
Design
The design of the new Grand Cherokee 4xe offers a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and you can choose from premium seating options, like Nappa leather seats and Palermo leather seats. With the Quadra-Lift Suspension System, you can even adjust the ride height for a smoother ride. Models like the Trailhawk have a 4xe hood decal and unique blue accents.
Technology
The new Grand Cherokee 4xe comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen with the Uconnect® 5 NAV system. It offers wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get a nine-speaker Alpine Premium Audio System to listen to your music while navigating the Yankton area.
Trim Levels
4xe: The base 4xe model comes with premium Capri leatherette-trimmed seats with heated first and second-row seats and a heated steering wheel. It also has a Quadra-Lift Suspension System and a Quadra-Trac II Active On-Demand 4x4 system. For safety, it comes standard with Blind Spot Monitoring, Active Lane Management, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Path Detection, ParkSense Rear Park Assist, and other driver-assist features. It comes standard with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a Uconnect® 5 NAV system with a large 10.1-inch touchscreen.
Trailhawk 4xe: The Trailhawk 4xe has a Quadra-Drive II Active On-Demand 4x4 system and offers blue tow hooks to assist with off-roading. It also features a sway bar disconnect amenity. Inside, you have leather-trimmed seats with suede inserts and an Alpine Premium Audio System.
Overland 4xe: The Overland has Nappa leather-trimmed seats and offers heated and ventilated front seats. Like the Trailhawk, you get blue tow hooks. It also comes with interior ambient lighting and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels.
Summit 4xe: The Summit adds advanced driver-assist features, like Active Driving Assist, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, a 360-degree camera, and Intersection Collision Assist. It also has a Rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential to help maximize traction. The Grand Cherokee Summit comes with 20-inch Silver Lithos Wheels along with a black painted roof. Inside, you get quilted Nappa leather seats with memory and massage features for added comfort.
Summit Reserve: With the Summit Reserve, you get ventilated second-row seats and 21-inch polished aluminum wheels. The Summit Reserve offers Palermo leather seats. It also sports a 19-speaker Premium McIntosh Audio System.
